Na samą spółkę Manufaktura Piwa Wódki i Wina przypadało 80,49 mln zł pożyczek (z czego 4,34 mln zł to obligacje) plus 22,09 mln zł obligacji.

Na facebookowej grupie „Bunt Inwestorów Palikota” zebrało się już ok. 900 osób. W ich ocenie warunki, które zaproponowano wierzycielom są „skandaliczne”. Janusz Palikot zarządza alkoholowym holdingiem Manufaktura Piwa Wódki i Wina SA (MPWiW). Główne źródło finansowania tego biznesu to tzw. Pożyczki społecznościowe o nazwie Bunt Finansowy.

W tej sytuacji należy konsekwentnie demaskować przynajmniej dwa piramidalne kłamstwa Konfederacji. Po pierwsze, że w przypadku Mentzena w ogóle dochodzi do „buntu”. Po drugie – że ten „bunt” jest „wolnościowy”. Skrajny egoizm i sknerstwo idą tu w parze z rozrzutnością i perwersyjnym altruizmem. „Buntownik” – zazwyczaj średnio lub słabo zarabiający drobnomieszczanin – woli kipnąć na wylew niż odpalić choćby centa na czyjąś „chorom córke”. Bez wahania natomiast przeleje swoje oszczędności milionerowi, wspierając jego biznes i kibicując mu „w trudnych chwilach”, bo przecież „chłop się stara”.

W marcu ubiegłego roku money.pl ustalił, że Tenczynek Dystrybucja, czyli jedna ze spółek alkoholowych Janusza Palikota, trafiła pod lupę Komisji Nadzoru Finansowego. Sprawa dotyczy crowdfundingu pożyczkowego, w ramach którego inwestorzy powierzyli firmie ponad 36 mln zł. To wówczas zaczęła się seria problemów zatrzymanego w czwartek przez CBA biznesmena. Jego zdaniem oferowane przez Tenczynek Dystrybucję oprocentowanie nie jest wysokie przy obecnej inflacji, a pożyczający mogą w ten sposób ochronić przed nią swoje oszczędności.
